Job summary

Strategy Recruitment Group is seeking a Plant Finance Manager in Ontario to lead all plant finance and accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely decision support to Operations.

This role owns the month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, costing, and variance analysis, partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability and efficiency while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA designation or equivalent required.
• 7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing finance/accounting.
• Proven ownership of close, costing, and plant performance reporting.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Advanced Excel.
• Ability to lead a team and influence cross-functional leaders; strong communication.

Responsibilities
