THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Planning & Performance Director will partner closely with the EVP, GreenShield Administration, to drive the execution of key initiatives critical to the successful delivery of the overall strategic directive for GreenShield Administration.

The leader will have accountability for the development and delivery of the Administration Line of Business (LOB) strategic plan, including driving continuous improvement, labor model, project management around CRM and Cross Sell initiatives.

This role is a critical member of the GreenShield Administration Leadership Team and will require engagement with multiple partners at the LOB and enterprise level.

  • Navigate priorities within the GreenShield Administration team and across other initiatives within the organization.
  • Partner with LOB leadership and Finance on AOP development.
  • Lead the development of business cases and critical metrics related to strategic plan implementation, including tracking performance and providing regular reports.
  • Represent LOB with key enterprise initiatives (e.g., CRM, Workforce planning, Hiring Gate).
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to drive growth through pricing and renewal strategies.
  • Lead GreenShield Administration’s capital planning process, supporting business case development, monitoring ROI.
  • Partner with IT and Product leadership to ensure delivery of capital projects.
  • Project manage CRM deployment and utilization.
  • Manage and represent GreenShield Administration on enterprise cross-sell initiatives.
  • Support LOB leaders on launches of new growth initiatives.
  • Plan and monitor budgets, short and long-term planning, forecasting, and workforce planning.
  • Work with leaders to ensure achievement of efficiency targets and project delivery.
  • Establish and monitor efficiency and effectiveness measures for each department.
  • Deploy workforce and capacity management tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to developing and implementing strategic plans, analyze market trends, and ensure alignment with sales and operational activities.
  • Performance Management: Develop performance measurement systems, monitor KPIs, and analyze data for improvements.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Represent GS Admin on enterprise projects, collaborate across departments, and communicate performance insights.
  • Decision Making: Make data-driven decisions and implement action plans to address gaps.
  • Call-out Skills: Budgeting, project management, continuous improvement.

  • Leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven success in strategic planning, governance, and performance management.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher.
