Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is currently in need for a self-starting individual to join our Operations team at our Fort McKay branch. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with one of the biggest Heavy Lift and Heavy Transport companies in the world. The role plans and executes mobilization and demobilization of personnel and project equipment for some of the largest projects in the region, to achieve an optimum utilization of resources to execute the work.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner
  • Understand and support Mammoet, SHE-Q and Business Policies and Procedures.
  • Receives, distributes and processes EMD requests
  • Works with the SAP planning board to plan, locate, reserve, ship and receive AE
  • Checks equipment availability through the planning board and with the yard supervisor
  • Looks for and communicate alternatives if necessary
  • Create and send off Purchase Orders for rentals and release up to applicable code
  • Print, distribute, process and file EMD requests, requisition notes, loading bills and (un)loading sheets
  • Identify safety hazards when present
  • Coordinate with yard supervisor, Data Controller, Project Manager and Client on the return of equipment
  • Follow up on equipment rental periods/ project duration/ return of equipment and adjust when necessary
  • Create and distribute transport requests for department-internal equipment transports
  • Communicates with the data controller to ensure EMD has current certifications
  • Ensures SAP planning board is up to date and accurate

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Education/Experience
