Brandt Industries Canada Ltd. is seeking a Planner for our Regina, Saskatchewan facility. The Planner is responsible for short-term scheduling and long-term planning, working closely with shop management, purchasing, engineering, and other personnel to ensure on-time delivery and accurate scheduling.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with sales, shop management, engineering, and purchasing to plan long-term production and ensure on-time delivery.
  2. Manage short-term scheduling of plant activities to facilitate smooth flow of parts and materials.
  3. Coordinate with Kitting and Purchasing to ensure availability of parts and materials.
  4. Participate and lead production meetings alongside sales.
  5. Work with the planning department to optimize resource utilization across locations.
  6. Identify and troubleshoot obstacles to on-time delivery.
  7. Communicate with Managers and Supervisors to ensure adequate manpower.
  8. Update standard hours in the manufacturing system as needed.
  9. Create production orders within the manufacturing system.
  10. Assist in setting up the bill of materials with the PDM group, indicating purchase or manufacture status and flow through the shop.
  11. Support purchasing with prioritization.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve practices and processes.
