The Kidz Cart Care Transportation Scheduler shoulders a pivotal role in overseeing the operational and scheduling facets of the transportation programs, ensuring children are safely and punctually transported to various destinations such as supervised visits, daycares, and schools. While reporting daily to the Family Learning Place (FLP) Team Lead and being overall accountable to the Executive Director, this role mandates adherence to the policies and guidelines set by VST-Transportation, Kidz Cart Program, and Kids First Kidz Cart Program

Key Duties:
Scheduling of transport, ensuring timely and efficient coordination
Maintain a high level of accuracy in entering and managing transportation schedules
Updated all pertinent records, such as drivers mileages, and work hours
Prepare reports, daily, weekly, monthly
Work within the framework of the Child and Family Services Act guidelines and principles
Knowledge of child seat safety and regulations
Attend required training sessions, and team meetings

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation management
Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License and access to a reliable, roadworthy, and fully compliant vehicle that meets insurance and safety requirements.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
Clear Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Driver's Abstract.
Understanding of child safety legislation and duty to report.
Experience with high-needs children is an asset.
