Job summary

Enbridge Inc. seeks a Pipeline Maintenance Coordinator to support the safe and efficient operation of its Liquids Pipelines system by coordinating maintenance, pigging programs, emergency response preparedness, and capital projects across a critical network.

You will work with field personnel, contractors, landowners and internal partners to maintain assets to high standards while delivering service to customers. Strong leadership, planning and coordination are key to success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Related university degree with six or more years of experience, or eight or more years in field operations.
  • Experience in pipeline operations and maintenance activities.
  • Emergency response training and readiness support.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support PLM activities including planned maintenance and pigging.
  • Organize field work to ensure safe, efficient completion.
  • Support emergency response preparedness through training and exercises.
  • Build relationships with landowners, authorities, contractors, and partners.
  • Contribute to work planning, procedure reviews, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and promote safety culture.
  • Complete administrative activities including Maximo work management and reporting.

Job description

Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position At Enbridge, safety, reliability and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do. As a Pipeline Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Liquids Pipelines system by coordinating maintenance activities, emergency response preparedness, pigging programs, and capital project work across a critical pipeline network. Working closely with field personnel, contractors, landowners and internal partners, you'll help ensure our assets are maintained to the highest standards while delivering exceptional service to our customers. What You Will Do
  • Coordinate and support Pipeline Maintenance (PLM) activities, including planned maintenance, pigging programs, emergency response initiatives, and capital project execution.
  • Assist in organizing and directing field work to ensure activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Support emergency response preparedness through training, planning, stakeholder engagement, and participation in emergency response exercises.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, municipal authorities, contractors, vendors, and internal business partners.
  • Contribute to work planning, procedure reviews, job plan development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to field personnel while promoting a strong culture of safety, inclusion, respect, and accountability.
  • Complete and oversee administrative activities including Maximo work management processes, reporting requirements, performance documentation, and related operational records.
Who You Are
  • Related university degree with six or more years of experience, or eight or more years of field operations experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in pipeline operations, maintenance activities, and associated equipment.
  • Emergency response training and demonstrated ability to support emergency preparedness activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational activities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, P&IDs, flow diagrams, and crossing agreements.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, integrity, respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of pipeline maintenance operations and work management practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and systems such as Maximo, Oracle, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, Bluebeam, iAuditor, Meridian Explorer, and other operational software.
  • Experience developing or working with Red Book procedures and documentation.
  • Previous experience coordinating field crews, contractors, and capital project activities.
Working Conditions

Combination of office and field-based work. Frequent interaction with regional operations teams, contractors, landowners, and project stakeholders. Participation in an on-call rotation and emergency response activities. Extended hours may be required during outages, emergencies, project work, or operational events. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Travel within the operating area to support maintenance activities, projects, and stakeholder engagement.
