Job summary

Jacob Bros Construction is seeking Pipelayers for projects in Victoria, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position with overtime after 8 hours and double time after 12 hours, plus group medical, extended health and dental, and RRSP benefits.

You will install pipe for storm, water, sanitary mains, and related utilities, grade trenches, position pipe, seal joints, and use lasers, grade rods and transit levels, with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years proven civil pipelayer experience for a privately held or family-owned general contracting business is preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe for storm, water, sanitary main, Hydro, Telus, and Shaw.
• Grade trenches and culverts, positions pipe, seals joints.
• Use instruments including lasers, grade rods and transit levels.
• Other labour duties as assigned
