Mercedes-Benz Markham seeks an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role covers the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, within AWIN's automotive group.

Salary ranges CAD 45,000–50,000 per year, with a strong benefits package, RRSP contributions and opportunities for growth across our network. Key duties include cash deposits, licensing postings, posting deals, warranties and rebates, and accurate data entry in CDK/Reynolds systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related industry experience.
• Automotive dealership experience is an asset.
• College Diploma or University Degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cash deposits and cash clearing schedule.
• Maintaining the funding/Chattel/Payouts for Audi Downtown and Audi York.
• Posting and maintaining the licensing schedule.
• Posting and verifying costs for the vehicle purchases- 180 and CDK.
• Posting Deals- New, Used, Wholesale.
• Managing external warranty, schedule review and payment submission.
• Managing rebates and submissions.

Pay Information: $45,000 - $50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Accounting Clerk performs accounting-related tasks utilizing knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. This position performs accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cash deposits and cash clearing schedule
• Maintaining the funding/Chattel/Payouts for Audi Downtown and Audi York.
• Posting and maintaining the licensing schedule.
• Posting and verifying costs for the vehicle purchases- 180 and CDK.

• Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related industry experience.
• Background in the automotive or related industry is an asset.
• College Diploma or University Degree.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with CDK and/or Reynolds systems; ability to operate PC-based software, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong attention to detail.
