Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Markham is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Scarborough, ON for a full-time role. The candidate will perform accounting duties including AR/AP, cash deposits, licensing, and deal postings within a luxury automotive group.

Ideal applicants have at least one year in the industry, a college diploma or university degree, strong communication and time management, and proficiency with CDK or Reynolds systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related industry experience.
• Background in the automotive industry is an asset.
• College Diploma or University Degree.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environment and meet deadlines.

• Dealership experience required.

Job Purpose:

The Accounting Clerk performs accounting-related tasks utilizing knowledge of the entire accounting cycle. This position performs accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cash deposits and cash clearing schedule
• Maintaining the funding/Chattel/Payouts for Audi Downtown and Audi York.
• Posting and maintaining the licensing schedule.
• Posting and verifying costs for the vehicle purchases- 180 and CDK.
• Posting Deals- New, Used, Wholesale.
• Managing external warranty, schedule review and payment submission
• Managing rebates and submissions
• Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions.
