Activate is a tech company expanding its team and building Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are hiring a full-time Picker to accurately pick components and materials based on BOMs, production schedules, quality standards, and sales orders.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and time management, with a focus on safety and organization in a fast-paced environment. Internal opportunity for current Activate employees.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technologist diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• High School Diploma; relevant experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly.
• Competency in Tier 1 assemblies at Activate Games.
• Experience in picking function at Activate Games is an asset.
• Comfortable in using Epicor.
• Able to read and understand pick sheets, BOMs, and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack components for part orders and game room packages.
• Coordinate daily picking operations to meet production targets.
• Prioritize and complete urgent picking requests with accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to quality control standards and proper handling of materials.
• Use Epicor to access drawings and BOMs for picking instructions.
• Collaborate with production planning and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.

Activate is a tech company known for creating Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are experiencing significant expansion and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Picker. A successful applicant will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking components and materials based on bills of materials (BOMs), production schedules , quality standards and sales orders.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication, team work and time management skills, along with a focus on maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an internal opportunity open only to current Activate employees.

The Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick and pack components for part orders and game room packages
• Coordinate daily picking operations to meet production targets
• Prioritize and complete urgent and priority picking requests while maintaining accuracy
• Ensuring adherence to quality control standards and proper handling of materials
• Use Epicor to access drawings and BOMs for proper picking instructions
• Collaborating with production planning and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned
  

Fabrication & Assembly

• Use various hand and power tools to complete minor game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides
• Assist with assembly and repair tasks as required to support production needs
  

The Qualifications
