Job summary

Bruyère Health in Ottawa is seeking a Physiotherapist for a temporary, full-time role in the Rehabilitation - E4R program. Day shifts, 1.0 FTE, on-site, 75 hours per pay period. You will lead physiotherapy treatment and patient care under the Clinical Manager.

Required: degree from a program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, active CPO registration, and FIM certification within the specified timeline. Bilingual French/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
• Practicing member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification completed within timeline.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and patient care.
• Work under the Clinical Manager; align with Rehabilitation - E4R program.
• Supervise and support student learning where applicable.

What would my role be?

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of physiotherapy treatment and care of patients.

Required :

• Graduate of an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
• Practicing member of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Successful completion of the mandatory FIM (Functional Independence Measure) certification provided by the hospital within the established timeline

Preferred :

• Three (3) years clinical experience and current clinical knowledge pertinent to the position
• Experience in supervising students
• Demonstrated interest in continuing education
• ADP (Assistant Device Program) authorizer or eligible
• Fluent in French and English
