Qualifications

• Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia (CPTBC).
• Ability to apply CPTBC standards of practice and practice guidelines.
• Capacity to use evidence-based assessment methods and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provides physiotherapy assessment of the patient's status, goals and needs.
• Develops and implements an evidence-based intervention plan with short and long-term goals.
• Educates patients and caregivers on self-management and health promotion.
• Collaborates with the interprofessional care team to optimize patient care.
• Maintains documentation and compiles statistics for workload reporting.
• Delegates parts of treatment to rehabilitation assistants and ensures quality care.
