Job summary

Lifemark Health Group in Calgary seeks an experienced Physiotherapist / Clinic Director to lead a busy clinic while sustaining an active caseload. This role blends clinical practice, people leadership and business development within a national rehab network.

You’ll mentor clinicians, shape clinic culture, drive service growth, and partner with physicians and referral partners to deliver exceptional patient care. The position offers leadership mentorship and nationwide opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of clinical physiotherapy experience, ideally in an outpatient environment.
• Active registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
• Professional liability insurance as required.
• Patient-first mindset and commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed care.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in clinic growth and business development.
• Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with people and operational leadership.
• Previous formal management experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Divide time between leading the clinic and maintaining a caseload.
• Provide visible, supportive leadership to the clinic team.
• Mentor and develop physiotherapists and other clinical team members.
• Identify and develop future leaders within the clinic.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of great team members.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, learning and shared success.
• Lead by example through your own clinical practice and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• Maintain an active caseload and deliver personalized, evidence-informed physiotherapy care.
• Develop treatment plans that support rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on recovery and self-management.
• Complete chart audits and provide coaching related to clinical reasoning and documentation.
• Maintain strong standards for communication and documentation.
• Stay current with emerging evidence, clinical practices and standards.
