Location: Vancouver, BC
The Physiotherapist focuses on promoting physical function, fitness, and motor performance to contribute to a client’s/patient’s overall well-being within a client and family-centered care model at the Children’s & Women’s Health Centre, a Provincial Resource Centre. Using advanced knowledge, clinical theory, and evidence-based practice, the Physiotherapist provides therapeutic, diagnostic, and preventative services to develop functional solutions for clients and their environments. The role requires in-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal growth, biomechanics, kinesiology, pathology, and neurology. The Physiotherapist also participates in program development, education, and research activities.
