We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist to work in our clinic and the eligible candidate will have previous experience working in the position or a similar position.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and functional limitations and determine a physiotherapy diagnosis.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, including setting short-term and long-term goals for rehabilitation.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and functional training.
• Regularly review and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing and improving their health.
• Advise patients on injury prevention techniques and ergonomic practices to reduce the risk of future injuries or complications.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and support.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, and progress reports, in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in physiotherapy, and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
• Adhere to the regulations and standards set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO).

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Minimum of 1 year to 2 years of experience strongly preferred.
• Certificate of Registration from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Fluent in English and good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks
• Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication.
