Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist in Sudbury, ON to assess, treat and educate clients in home and community settings.

Under the Clinical Manager, you will monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure client-centered care and safe, effective rehabilitation.

Qualificações

  • Maintain active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Current valid driver’s license.
  • Current criminal reference check and vulnerable sector screen.
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication, oral and written.

Maintains current accurate clinical records according to standards set by College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Documents assessment results, goals, treatment, client progress and discharge plans. Collaborates with other members of the health care team as needed. Able to monitor and support Physiotherapy Assistants in a team environment Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients / care providers and provides education regarding treatment strategies as needed. Observes the performance of those assisting in the physiotherapy program and provides guidance as necessary.Qualifications:OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Maintain active standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities Adhere to Bayshore ICS Policies and Procedures Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns. Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel. Complete other tasks as requested Enjoy working with clients of all ages in multiple treatment environments. Strong, communication, (oral and written) and exceptional interpersonal and decision-making skills. Ability to handle difficult situations in an objective and consistent manner. Ability to work independently and to effectively collaborate with a team. Demonstrated basic knowledge of personal computers and proficiency with secure email..Commitment to continued learning.
