Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Practice -Allied Health, the incumbent will function as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and management of patients with a variety of neurological and musculoskeletal diagnosis and medical conditions.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
  • Current BCLS

Mandatory Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with a variety of patient populations within a hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated principles of safe patient handling.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to work all shifts (including weekends).
  • Reliable individual with excellent attendance record and able to work all shifts
