Job summary

Adecco is seeking a CNC Machine Operator in Markham, ON for a full-time night shift position. Entry-level with training provided to operate CNC milling and lathe equipment, read blueprints, and ensure quality while meeting production targets.

You will develop hands-on skills in precision manufacturing, maintain safety standards, and contribute to timely shipment of parts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• CNC training or machining education is considered an asset.
• Experience operating CNC machines, manual machines, or manufacturing equipment is considered an asset.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other production equipment.
• Operate saw equipment and support production activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints and routing sheets.
• Maintain production rates while meeting quality standards.
• Inspect parts using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Verify product accuracy before shipment.
• Complete production, quality, SPC, and timesheet documentation.
• Report production issues or discrepancies to Lead Hands or Setters.
• Deburr parts as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all manufacturing and safety procedures.

Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hour + $5 night premium
