Alberta Health Services through Central Corridor Medical Affairs is recruiting Physician Assistants for the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Olds Hospital and Lacombe Hospital across Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Internal Medicine and Hospitalists.

These roles report to the Primary Supervising Physician and functions within a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Under the Supervision of a Physician lead, the Physician Assistant (PA) will provide care to patients with a wide variety of medical conditions within their portfolio. The primary responsibility of the Physician Assistant (PA) is to provide comprehensive direct patient care, within their skill matrix, as a central member of the team. The PA is responsible to perform comprehensive assessment, make differential diagnoses, order appropriate testing, and plan the clinical management of patients. The PA provides leadership and actively participates in this program development and evaluation.
