Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking an experienced part-time Physician in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The proposed physician must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in providing primary care in the last two (2) years.

Hourly Compensation Rate: $300-325

SUMMARY

• Our federal client is seeking Primary Care Physician services in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The Primary Care Physician must provide integrated patient centered medical services to patients in collaboration with our client's inter-disciplinary health care team.

DESCRIPTION

• The Physician must provide integrated, trauma informed, culturally appropriate Primary Care health services to patients.
• The Physician must collaborate with the Health Services Team to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and ensure safe, effective and efficient operation of clinics to attain quality standards and goals.
• Document all patient encounters, including, but not limited to, all progress notes, all assessments, treatments, and consultations.
• Prescribe medications.
• Travel
  • Will be reimbursed as agreed upon in advance.
  • Travel to another site with the objective to provide care.
  • Travel to participate in meetings related to the delivery of care.
• On Call Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The proposed physician must hold a current license in good standing from the provincial licensing body for physicians and surgeons in the province where services are to be provided.
• The proposed physician must have a minimum of six (6) months experience in providing primary care in the last two (2) years.
• Certificate of professional conduct issued by the proposed physician’s College of Physicians and Surgeons including any judgments or restrictions registered against the proposed physician.
