Job Overview:

Responsible for evaluating and treating patients in the acute care setting. Duties include patient and family intervention across various nursing units such as Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Cardiac, Critical Care, Trauma, General Medicine, Telemetry, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics. Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills are required for effective intra- and interdisciplinary communication.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program at the baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate level
• New Jersey state license and registration
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred:

• Active membership in a professional organization (encouraged but not required)

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting.
• Perform patient and family interventions across various units including orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine, telemetry, emergency, and pediatrics.
• Maintain strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
