Position Purpose

This position provides quality Physical Therapy services under supervision, serving pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across various therapy settings. Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, and services like gait and transfer therapy, orthotic/prosthetic training, and wound care.

Nature and Scope

The incumbent ensures optimal patient care through assessment, planning, and evaluation. The role involves supervising staff and providing services across different facility types, including inpatient and post-acute settings. Participation in program development and outcome measurement may be required. The position requires working at least one major and one minor holiday per year, with specific holidays defined.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirement	Description
Education	Must have working knowledge of English; recent graduates may be considered for provisional licensing.
Experience	Experience with physical disabilities, specialty certification, or experience in related areas preferred.
License	Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Physical Therapy license; provisional license acceptable initially. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for home health roles.
Certification	BLS/CPR certification per AHA standards required.
Computer Skills	Ability to complete online training, access forms, and perform related tasks within 90 days.
