Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
• Ensure prescriptions are complete and authentic
• Administer injections/vaccinations where permitted by regulations
• Transfer prescriptions to and from other pharmacies
• Ensure the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
• Conduct final checks of prescriptions
• Verify the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
