Qualifications

• Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college.
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications.
• Adjudicate third party billing when required.
• Data entry for new prescriptions and managing refill requests.
• Select medications to fill prescriptions according to Standards of Practice.
• Maintain and secure the cash register in the dispensary.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy requirements are followed.
