Responsibilities include:

1. Receiving hands-on training and working alongside dedicated professionals.

5. Performing duties in a computerized automated Unit Dose setting, including repackaging and intravenous admixture.
6. Providing teaching to pharmacy students collaboratively with other Pharmacy Technicians.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

1. Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
2. Preceptor training with OCP is an asset.
3. Membership with the Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians (C.A.P.T) is an asset.
4. Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
5. Experience with Swisslog automation is an asset.
6. Proficiency in computer applications such as EPIC and Microsoft Office.
7. Ability to handle complex tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
8. Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
9. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
10. Experience in patient-centered care.
11. Ability to work independently and in a team.
12. Satisfactory performance and attendance.

The primary site will initially be Credit Valley Hospital, with periodic travel to other THP sites.
