Sanavie, a leading Quebec pharmacy group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for a hybrid role balancing billing coordination, patient care support, and clerical duties. The position suits detail-oriented, organized candidates passionate about financial accuracy and patient well-being.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on relevant experience, with a daytime schedule and comprehensive benefits. Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8 hours daily, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance, Medical Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in billing, pharmacy support, or patient services.
• Knowledge of billing systems, pharmacy or healthcare software, and office tools.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and analyze customer billing and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, audit and edit pre-bills, and resolve billing inquiries.
• Monitor accounts receivable, perform reconciliations, and prepare reports on outstanding balances and collections.
• Contact clients regarding payments, billing options, and account status.
• Greet and direct patients, schedule appointments, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Collect and process payments, reconcile patient accounts, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide administrative support for patient inquiries and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
• Handle mail distribution, and preparation of invoices, receipts, and reports.
• Support general office operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
