Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Ontario, Canada seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to warmly welcome clients, collect data for prescriptions, and assist in compiling and preparing prescriptions. French language proficiency is required, and the role emphasizes teamwork and friendly service. Training is provided if the diploma is not already held.

Responsibilities

Job description

The salary for this position ranges between $21.06 and $23.14.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

To hold this position, it is possible:

• to hold the Diploma of Professional Studies of Technical Assistant in Pharmacy;
• if you do not have this diploma, we offer you a complete paid training.
