Job Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and guide staff, manage performance, and oversee hiring processes.
  2. Ensure the financial and operational success of the department.
  3. Accurately prepare, dispense, and control medications.
  4. Maintain adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter products.
  5. Counsel patients on medications and create awareness through public relations activities.
  6. Address patient needs and manage relationships with healthcare providers.
  7. Review sales and contribute to budget planning.
  8. Identify sales opportunities and control costs within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism.
  • Ability to develop community-based marketing strategies.
  • Problem-solving skills with proven ability to execute action plans.
  • Knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is a plus.
