Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff
  • Manage hiring and performance evaluations
  • Ensure the financial and operational success of the department
  • Accurately prepare, dispense, and control medications
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels
  • Counsel patients on medications and health products
  • Engage with the community through public relations activities
  • Address patient needs and resolve issues promptly
  • Review sales and contribute to budget management
  • Identify sales opportunities and control costs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Class A Pharmacist license
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and motivational abilities
  • Customer service-oriented with professionalism
  • Experience with community marketing strategies
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to implement action plans
  • Knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is an asset
