Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is recruiting to manage the Pharmacy's overall operations in a community-focused store in Canada.

You will consult customers and health-care providers, dispense medications, and perform duties within expanded professional scope while maintaining privacy and safety. Responsibilities include counselling on prescriptions, maintaining records, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring accurate dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall Pharmacy operations and provide consultation to customers and health care providers
• Dispense medication and ensure accuracy and safety of prescriptions
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality and obtain consent when required
• Counsel on prescriptions and OTC products
• Communicate with other health professionals as needed
• Maintain records per legislation and SOPs
• Oversee inventory, workflow queues and stock levels
• Ensure compliance with Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and reporting requirements
