  • Manage workflow, inventory, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support vaccination and expanded-scope services as authorized.

Job description

Galloway’s Pharmacy in Central Butte, Saskatchewan is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to join our community-focused pharmacy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, providing personalized care, and taking pride in being an integral part of a small community.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Galloway’s Pharmacy
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
  • Provide medication counselling, medication reviews, and other clinical pharmacy services
  • Develop lasting relationships with patients and provide personalized, compassionate care
  • Work collaboratively with local physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff
  • Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, ordering, and operational requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Saskatchewan legislation, regulatory requirements, and professional standards
  • Participate in vaccinations and other expanded-scope pharmacy services, as authorized
  • Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, privacy, and quality of care
  • Identify opportunities to enhance pharmacy services and better serve the community
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
  • Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)
  • Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience is an asset
  • Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centred care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make sound professional decisions
  • A friendly, approachable personality and genuine interest in serving a close-knit community
