Job summary

Felix Pharmacy in Richmond Hill, Ontario is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead a brand-new location and establish scalable operations from day one. You will guide daily pharmacy activities, mentor staff, and build processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and high-quality patient care.

You will oversee hiring, onboarding, SOP creation, and continuous improvement, while maintaining compliance with provincial/federal regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience, with leadership or management preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to lead, support, and coach staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Kroll and comfort working with pharmacy management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support hiring, scheduling, and performance management to build a high-performing pharmacy team.
  • Take charge of onboarding, training, and team development, including creating SOPs and reference materials.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and foster a feedback-rich, growth-oriented environment.
  • Help shape a team culture rooted in collaboration, compassion, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee daily workflow and uphold compliance with federal/provincial regulations and company standards.
  • Step in as pharmacist-in-charge, liaising with regulators, auditors, and third parties as needed.
  • Manage inventory end-to-end — ordering pharmaceuticals, OTC items, and supplies; conducting audits; and maintaining assets.
  • Lead reporting and resolution of prescription incidents with a proactive mindset.
  • Supervise and participate in prescription preparation and dispensing, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality.
  • Provide expert medication consultations and support clinical services.

About the Role

As Pharmacy Manager, you'll help shape the future of our pharmacy team and the care we provide. This is a brand-new location in Richmond Hill, and you'll be the leader establishing the processes to launch and scale operations from day one. Experience & Qualifications
