Shoppers Drug Mart in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a Pharmacist to lead the Pharmacy on duty, provide patient consultation and professional services, and dispense medications while ensuring privacy and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with health care professionals, maintain records, and oversee dispensing accuracy.

This role supports an Associate-Owner model with the national Loblaw network, offering discounts, flexible schedules, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Pharmacy operations on duty, including dispensing and customer consultation.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products; ensure accuracy of dispensed medications.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality and consent management; comply with regulations.
• Communicate with health care professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain records in accordance with legislation, standards and policy.
• Oversee dispensary workflow, stock levels and inventory control; review will-call bins.
• Ensure appropriate store image, financial reporting and internal communications.
• File incident reports for any medication or privacy incidents.
