Position Summary

CareRx is in an exciting growth phase and is seeking to hire a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Billing Team.

This is a full time permanent position and prior experience in specialty pharmacy is an advantage, but not required.

Compensation: $18.50 to $22.00 hour

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience for the role with CareRx

Day-to-day tasks include:

• Perform billing entry operations
• Verify insurance coverage and understand relevant laws (training can be provided)
• Assist with Third Party audits
• Application and follow up for Special Authorization
• Entering new prescriptions in Kroll, PCC, and/or Catalyst as required
• Assist with phone calls and provide customer notes to clients/customer
• Day-to-day maintenance of our pharmacy operations both independently and in cooperation with teammates
