Our Mississauga Pharmacy Location is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to provide meaningful support at the right time to our members for better health and peace of mind.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for managing inbound communications from pharmacy patients and healthcare professionals. You will be the first point of contact for individuals contacting the pharmacy for medication and healthcare needs. Essential Functions

1. Investigate and respond to communications, including prescription transfers, refill requests, payment solutions, and shipment tracking.
2. Communicate and follow-up with pharmacy providers and prescribers regarding patient care.
3. Gather information to create and maintain patient medication profiles.
4. Escalate complex situations as necessary.

Qualifications

1. 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
2. Proficient in Kroll software.
3. Experience in a Specialty Pharmacy setting is strongly preferred.
4. Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
5. CRM experience is a plus but not required.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Team player with the ability to work independently.
8. Strong customer service focus and work ethic.
9. Interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
10. Flexibility and adaptability to change.
11. Understanding of quality assurance and service excellence.
12. Organizational skills, effective time management, and ability to prioritize.
13. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with attention to detail.
14. Ability to multi-task.
15. Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
