Sobeys Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant II for our Moncton and Fredericton, NB locations.

You will join a national pharmacy team and help deliver patient-centered care across banners serving communities from coast to coast. Key duties include processing prescriptions, handling refills, pill pack assembly, filing, stock replenishment, and assisting with clinical services scheduling and routine administrative tasks.

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a Pharmacy Assisstant II at our Moncton & Fredericton, NB location.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

What you have to offer:

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
