Sobeys Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Relief to cover Moncton and surrounding areas. You’ll process prescriptions, handle refills, assemble pill packs and support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate; pharmacy experience is an asset. The role offers health benefits, employee discount, and opportunities for growth within a national retailer.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions (prescriptions)
• Handle in-person and telephone refill requests; record deliveries
• Pill Pack Assembly
• File prescriptions; order and replenish supplies; clean
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (med reviews, health risk assessments, disease state management)
• BTC management
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stock, TMLs, third parties

Pharmacy Assistant Relief - Covering Moncton and Surrounding areas

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

What you have to offer:

• Preferred: Undergraduate degree, Pharmacy Technology Certificate or other Pharmacy Recognized program
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset
