Job summary

You'll greet patients, enter data, handle OTC inquiries, and ensure accurate prescription processing while maintaining stock and providing excellent customer service. Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, and weekends are required to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data/entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify accuracy of prescription information before filling.
• Enter patient care information into the system.
• Process third-party adjudications as needed.
• Accurately dispense prescribed medications.
• Maintain pharmacy stock via inventory control.
• Handle OTC inquiries and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Manage customer prescription pick-up.
