Atlantic Superstore in Fredericton, NB, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Loblaw family. You will greet patients, confirm prescription details, enter care information, and support pharmacists with dispensing and stock management.

You should have strong organizational and communication skills, customer service experience, and familiarity with pharmacy software. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.
• Proficient computer/data entry skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and confirm accuracy of prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third party adjudication if necessary.
• Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Maintain pharmacy stock via inventory control systems.
• Handle OTC inquiries and refer to Pharmacist when needed.
• Handle customer prescription pick up.
