Responsibilities Include:

• Processing customer transactions (prescriptions, refills)
• Understanding and promoting pharmacy programs
• Filing prescriptions, ordering supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation, compounding, pill pack assembly
• Scheduling clinical services
• Managing behind-the-counter tasks, cycle counts, stock returns
• Assisting pharmacists as permitted

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma preferred
• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience considered in some provinces
• Previous pharmacy experience an asset
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, work independently
