Job summary

Sobeys Inc. operates Canada’s national pharmacy team across banners including Sobeys, Safeway, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, Lawtons Drugs and FreshCo. We are seeking friendly, knowledgeable individuals to join our team and prioritize patient health.

You will contribute to prescription processing, customer service, compounding and clinical services coordination in a fast-paced pharmacy environment while upholding company standards and delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
