Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our national pharmacy team. You’ll assist with prescription assembly, data entry, processing in-person and telephone refill requests, and contributing to patient‑centered care across banners nationwide.

Preferred qualifications include a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma; previous pharmacy experience is an asset; you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, multi‑task, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements)
• BTC management
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TMLs, manual third parties
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
