Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information.
Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist.
Set realistic wait time expectations for customers.
Assist with cash register in the dispensary.
Adhere to confidentiality and privacy requirements.
Receive and process prescription orders according to SOPs.
Submit orders excluding controlled drugs and narcotics.
Adjudicate third party billing and manage accounts.
Answer calls and coordinate with pharmacists when needed.
File documentation per standards.
