Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support customer service, prescription processing and dispensing activities.

You will greet customers, gather information for prescriptions, assist the pharmacist, and help maintain accurate records while upholding privacy and safety standards in a community-focused, locally owned store. Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Refer clinical inquiries to the pharmacist and set wait times.
• Handle prescription workflows and data entry per Pharmacy Standards of Practice.
• Assist with counters, filing, and maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
• Support pharmacy team with prescription preparation and labeling.
• Manage incoming calls and coordinate with the pharmacist as needed.
