Job description

Position Summary: The Pharmacy Assistant assists the Pharmacist in prescription filling and administrative duties to enhance patient care. They participate in all aspects of pharmacy operations and are key in delivering customer service.

What you'll do:

1. Receive prescriptions, ensure completeness, and assess for regulatory compliance.
2. Perform computer functions such as data entry, price checks, and patient info updates.
3. Assist in filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, including product selection, labeling, and verification.
4. Maintain inventory control, check for expired medications, and manage stock levels.
5. Keep the dispensary organized, clean, and safe, including equipment maintenance.
6. Handle clerical tasks like filing and administrative support functions.
7. Assist with OTC operations, ordering, stocking, and cashier duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older.
