Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pharmacy assistant role, preferably in a long-term care or community setting.
• Comfortable working on-site independently within a long-term care environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock and restock medications in automated cabinets and ensure inventory is adequate.
• Verify documentation and assist with order scanning and validation.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and pharmacists on audits and med management changes.
• Assist with labeling, returns, and general pharmacy support tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation within audit systems.
