Job summary

CareRx Corporation in Windsor, ON is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant – Kroll Data Entry with experience in retail pharmacy to join our pharmacy team supporting LTC homes and retirement communities.

You will prepare, package and organize medication deliveries, manage inventory and assist with daily operations using Kroll data entry and eMAR systems, under pharmacist supervision. This on-site role offers a stable schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems (Point Click Care, Catalyst, Med E Care)
• Competency with Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines

Responsibilities

• Preparing, processing, and filling prescriptions using eMAR and Kroll pharmacy software, including handling refills and third-party adjudications.
• Receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory, including managing returns of expired products.
• Preparing and ensuring timely delivery of prescriptions and labels to care facilities and retirement homes,
• Managing supplies and performing other related administrative duties.
• Responding to inquiries from nurses and healthcare providers, and directing calls to appropriate staff.
• Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
• Assisting with various pharmacy operations, including potentially operating automated machines and compounding prescriptions under pharmacist supervision as well as consulting with management on unresolved issues.

CareRx is looking for aPharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Software/ Kroll Data Entry)to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. Role Accountabilities:

What You Will Bring to The Team:

Compensation Range: $19 - $23/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location: This is on-site role at our Windsor Pharmacy- 2425 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W 1E6.
