Job summary

Sobeys in Dartmouth is seeking professional individuals to join their pharmacy team, focused on exceptional patient-centered care. Responsibilities include prescription assembly, customer transactions, compounding, and scheduling clinical services.

Job description

We are looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join our pharmacy team, which is committed to providing exceptional patient‑centered care and exceeding patients’ expectations. Your top priority will be meeting the health needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prescription assembly – data entry
  • Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
  • Receive in‑person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
  • Promote PROfile programs
  • Compounding
  • Pill pack assembly
  • File prescriptions, order and replenish supplies, and perform cleaning duties
  • Drug order creation and receiving
  • Schedule professional clinical services (e.g., medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements)
  • BTC management
  • Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
  • Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
Qualifications
