Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to join our national team across banners such as Sobeys, Safeway, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, Lawtons Drugs or FreshCo.

You will support prescription assembly, data entry, and patient-centered care while upholding company standards. This role involves processing transactions, managing refill requests, and collaborating with pharmacists to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to adhere to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly and data entry.
• Process customer transactions and handle refill requests.
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs and assist with compounding and pill pack assembly.
• Maintain inventory and comply with all company standards.
