Sobeys Amherst Centre Mall Pharmacy in Amherst, Nova Scotia, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team. You will assemble prescriptions, process transactions, handle refills, and support a range of clinical services in a patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree with a Pharmacy Technology Certificate, and pharmacy experience is an asset. We offer comprehensive benefits, flexible work life arrangements, and a strong community focus.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail; ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote PROfile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Drug order creation and receiving.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state management).
• BTC management.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
